By accessing or using the Site, you agree to these Terms and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, please discontinue use of the Site.

1. Definitions

  • “Contributing Therapist”: Licensed professionals listed in our directory.
  • “User Content”: Any information or materials submitted by a User, including comments, quiz responses, and directory profiles.
  • “Site Content”: All content provided by Therapy Waypoint, including articles, tools, graphics, and quizzes.

2. License to Use the Site

Subject to these Terms, Therapy Waypoint grants you a limited, revocable, non‑exclusive, non‑transferable license to access and use the Site for personal, non‑commercial purposes. You may view, download, and print Site Content solely for your own use, provided you retain all copyright and proprietary notices.

3. Account Registration

Certain features (e.g., newsletter, quizzes, profile creation) require registration. You must provide accurate, current, and complete information, protect your credentials, and notify us of unauthorized use. We may suspend or terminate accounts at our discretion.

4. User Content & Conduct

You retain ownership of your User Content but grant Therapy Waypoint a worldwide, royalty‑free license to use, reproduce, and display it in connection with the Site. You agree not to post unlawful, defamatory, infringing, or harmful content. We reserve the right to remove or disable access to any content violating these Terms.

5. Contributing Therapists

Contributing Therapists are responsible for maintaining accurate credentials and complying with regulations. Therapy Waypoint does not endorse or guarantee any professional and is not liable for therapist services or conduct.

6. Intellectual Property

All Site Content is owned or licensed by Therapy Waypoint and protected by law. Except as permitted, you may not copy, modify, distribute, or create derivative works without prior written consent.

7. Third‑Party Links & Resources

The Site may link to external sites or embed third‑party content. We do not control or endorse those sites and assume no responsibility for their content or practices.

8. Disclaimers

Medical and Therapeutic Disclaimer: Site Content is for informational and educational purposes only and does not constitute professional advice. Always seek qualified guidance for health decisions.
“As‑Is” Basis: The Site and all content are provided “as is” without warranties of any kind, express or implied.

9. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Therapy Waypoint and its affiliates will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Site. Our total liability will not exceed $100.

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Michigan without regard to conflict of laws principles. Disputes shall be resolved in the state or federal courts located in Grand Rapids, Michigan, and you consent to personal jurisdiction there.

Neither party will be liable for delays or failures to perform due to causes beyond reasonable control, including natural disasters, acts of government, or network failures.

13. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your access for violation of these Terms or other policies. Upon termination, all licenses granted cease, and you must destroy any downloaded materials.

14. Severability

If any provision is found invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions will remain in effect and be construed to fulfill the original intent.

15. Waiver

Our failure to enforce any right does not constitute a waiver of that right. Waivers must be in writing.

16. Electronic Communications

By using the Site, you consent to electronic communications and agree that communications satisfy any legal requirement for written notice.

17. Entire Agreement

These Terms and the Privacy Policy constitute the entire agreement between you and Therapy Waypoint regarding the Site, superseding any prior agreements.
